I am paranoid while installing apps... just today android sends out an update to the calculator app, and it requests access permissions to photos. Now why the hell would a app need access to photos? Ahhh, fucking skins.
Another random app update: wants access to literally everything on my phone: contacts, geo, photo, mic, camera, install protocols to access web without permission.
Do you ever worry about the apps you install?
Or should I stop being paranoid and just accept the fact that all my data is already pwned by google anyway because its android.. and move on with my life.

iOS user here,
No, I am not paranoid, since I the OS only informs you the moment the app wants to access said part of your phone, not while installing it, and you can just block said access and continue to use the other parts of the app that do not need such access. If you were to allow access though, it wont bug you with a popup until you disallow it and try to access that function again.
