Low persistence OLED will be objectively better than CRT.
Low percistence on LCD is already mostly better than CRT

I had two 21" Sony Trinitron CRT's back then. Was pretty cool with 2048x1536 or 1600x1200@60Hz, desu, but using them made me almost blind and I'll probably develop some brain cancer some time.

The raspberry pi clique, they've been working on a bunch of CRT adaptors, including one for either YPbPr or Jamma RGB or something like that. I'd guess that a scart one must also be in the works.
