antivirus is dead. Symantec said it themself.

Just use the one MS will support you with and do not use a Admin Account as your normal user.
And you will be safe for 95%. The last 5% will fuck you if they want to.

anti viruses increase your attack surface. they arent worth it anymore.

just use malwarebytes + common sense.
you can also occasionally run Adware Removal Tool by TSA.
