ITT: Vivaldifags and Iridiumfags fight to the death over which is the better browser.

Can either actually compete with Chrome / Chromium?

Let's have a clean and fair fights, autists and gentoomen!

vivaldi is the only option to replace opera 12

i can only hope that a year from now it'll be at least as good as opera 12 was feature-wise

it has already made a huge leap since it was first released, i have high hopes for it

for a second there I thought this was a thread about satellite communications

I mean, feel free to talk about that shit if you want. I think Vivaldi is the clear choice for browsers anyway, so might as well.
>>
Botnet for goyim vs Aryan German browser that respects your freedoms
>>
i don't really trust iridium.
>>
>>59175408
>>59175997
This so very clearly a thread made by a Vivaldi shill. Stop claiming and pretending that Vivaldi was actually open-sourced and can be trusted in any way, there are still binary blobs -- so many in fact, that the "source" package is 600mb~ in size, funny joke.

The browser not to be trusted here is Vivaldi so very obviously.
>>
>>59175408
I don't use Vivaldi at all compared to Iridium a decent amount for a porn browser.

One's a kick ass element made in the father land while the other is named after some fag artist.
>>
>>59176045
How does Iridium's source compare? Looked pretty open browsing by their project page on github but didn't dig really deep.
>>
>>59176045
yeah I don't trust Vivaldi either.
>>
They're all shit made for retards.

Iridium is basically just a set of patches made against the Chromium code base (although you would have to create these yourself from the commits, starting from the original fork: https://github.com/iridium-browser/iridium-browser). You can trust Iridium as far as you trust Chromium, after you inspected the changes made to it (or someone else does).

iridium makes internet fast and light in my x220
>>
>>59176202
does it start very fast and render complex web sites really fast too?
>>
>>59176202
And maybe I have become a bit paranoid, but these retarded posts look like reverse shilling to me. Just create posts that sound absolutely retarded and "shilly" for your competition. In case I'm wrong: shut up you retard if you can't even write something without sounding embarrassing.

>implying I watch netflix
I can customize it a hell of a lot more than chrome and that's the major thing for me.

TV online sites (official ones like Fox) give me some issues but I run them in Chrome anyways so I can use Dexpot and OnTopReplica to have a small window for multitasking when I'm down to one monitor.

And the service is shit. Nothing I want to watch. Would torrent if I did.

Whats wrong with opera 12

>compete with Chrome / Chromium?
Iridium is LITERALLY just a better chromium. It just removed some botnet parts from chromium.
>>
>>59175542
Iridium users don't use google. It's literally chromium stripped of all things google and hardened.
