Stopped reading there. Kill yourself.

n++ is fast. I use it if I just need to read a file or edit a line or two.
If I'm going to be doing extensive editing of source code I'll click to open VS Code and go make a cup of coffee while it starts up.

nano

Notepad++
Visual Studio Code looks like dogshit. Notepad++ is much lighter too, and better for short notes I take for later.

I use Notepad++ but don't use it for actual coding. I mean make an HTML file in it or look at someone else's code with highlighting without bothering to open an IDE for it, but don't code with it.
If you're actually going to code in a text editor instead of a proper IDE use one of those autistic ones that /g/'s always on about. At least they have features.

I've been using VS Code for a while in a project I started. It's mediocre and bare-bones and it offers virtually no integrated development features (unless you still call auto-complete and Git differential highlighting integrated development features, but any modern coding text editor will give you those).
In short there's no reason for me to be using this and I suspect that there's no reason for anyone else to use it. It's just not a proper IDE and there are far far better text editors out there.

apples to oranges
np++ is a universal text editor
vsc is specifically for programming
What should I be using if I only plan to develop in HTML/CSS/JavaScript?
