>AMD Ryzen comes out
>Intel BTFO
>Gamescom arrives
>Skylake X is released
>Has a base clock of 4.5 ghz
>for the same price of Ryzen 1800x
When will /g/ learn that whatever happens Intel will always be the leaders in the industry.

everything in the future is going multithread, tho
>>59149918
Ryzen is obviously shit if you look at the leaked benches we have so far.
I don't know why anyone ever expected any less, AMD always fails to deliver.
Kek
Intel has absolutely zero intention of releasing a better product.
'Training' best buy employees, bribing OEMs, and paying developers to ignore AMD processors and optimise for intel ones are their first port of call.
And their second.
And third.
>>59149968
no it won't
>>59149918
>intel 8 cores
>hitting more than 4.3Ghz clocks, even on overclocks
HAHAHAHA NOPE.
Intel has had and always will have horrendous multicore scaling.
>>59149977
looks pretty good to me, multit hreaded is excellent, single threaded is behind if you go for anything below an 1800x. May not be the perfect gaming cpu, but ryzen seems to be the best value atm. What I'm really to see, is the r5 series.
Also, I think third party benchmarks start coming out tomorrow or the day after, so wait for those.
>Skylake-X
>still 14nm
Skylake quadcore is already hot as fuck. Skylake 10 core is going to go thermonuclear and cost just as much per core as Broadwell.
>>59149968
>new games coming out can still only take advantage of 4 cores
>PS5 and XboxNext is 4 cores
Yea no not for games. Unless these companies are willing to optimize for PC which makes the games play like shit on consoles then chances are we are still going to stay with a limit of 4 cores where Intel is still king.
everything in the future is going greentext
>>59150131
ps4 and xbone both use "8 core" (4 fpus) amd cpus
>>59150131
actually per core performance of ryzen may be better
>>59149918
>intel
>pricing that makes sense
