It's all spanking new, so while I sortof agree, it's staying.

Nope, OSVR 1.3. It's better than the Rift DK2 and worse than the CV1. I haven't used an OSVR2 or Vive.

Added my headphones, a headphone amp and switch, some extra plugs on the back, stained the top mode wood, new coasters, a bathmat to stand on, a wall power meter (tops out at 10 amps with both computers running benchmarks) plus a bolt in the wall to put my briefcase.

On average? 12-15 hours a day depending on if I have a heavy workload or if the weather isn't nice. Today (yesterday) I started working at it around 6PM, and it's not 8AM, I have to leave at 9:20AM and will be back home around 5PM to probably have another 6 hours of work at the computer before going to bed.

I did have to edit the original image file to make it off center the way it is though, otherwise by default it looked like this

So I added a large black section to the left side to move the image of Mars more to the right, then flipped the monitor to allow Mars's full size to show, as opposed to when they're both horizontal and you can't see the top or bottom.

The Sam & Max and Monkey Island pieces are both signed prints that Purcell did for Telltale when they did their 'sequels.' So not original in the sense that there's only 1, but those are real autographs.

Grew up playing Sam & Max Hit the Road and all the Monkey Islands, so it was a treat to get the prints.

I've never found one of them on the mainstream market that worked well, if at all even.

If you need to bridge two locations in your home and can't get a cable between them easily, there are solutions, but I'd never recommend an off-the-shelf 'wifi-repeater'. Nothing but problems ahead for you there. :(

Yeah the repeater I got didn't get good connection at all to the router.
I did hook it up directly to the router via cable and the wifi signal was good as expected.
But the fiber tv lost connection constantly while everything else worked just fine, even the online functions for the tv.

So I got a proper accesspoint and then it all worked like a charm.
So far.

I'm not getting repeaters for anyone or myself until they are much better.

If you're just trying to combine several photos, if you've only got Paint, yeah that's rough.

You need to first:
Make sure each is cropped and saved in a separate file. We'll call them 1,2,3,4,5, and 6.

Then:
ADD the dimensions in pixels (right click > properties) for width of 3 of them. Do the same for height. (This gives you a '3x3 canvas' dimension that you'll need.)

Go to Paint. Create a new (blank) image that is that size. (Or bigger if you like for some reason.

Paste each picture into there, starting with the upper left one and move them into position.

You shouldn't have to stretch them at all. They'll fit in like puzzle pieces.

Also, random tip, I believe holding "SHIFT" while resizing a selected thing in Paint still prevents you from distorting the aspect ratio.

I think so. This is honestly my first pair of good speakers and they were delivered to me on Feb 22nd. However, they were recommended to me personally by a YouTuber named Zeos. I told him I was either getting these or the JBL 305's and he recommended these. He's working on a review of the more expensive models.

They definitely need burn in time. They're not neutral out of the box but they're a little flat. After a few hours of play time they really come alive. They have enough low end to get by without a sub. I currently don't have one but I'm perfectly happy without it. They have nice clean highs as well. I definitely wouldn't turn up the treble knob. It doesn't get siblant, it just gets that painful high that stabs you in the brain.

I think for powered monitors in the ~$200 price point you'd be hard pressed to find a pair that are "better".
