Remember when AMD fucked up with Bulldozer? but they still managed to stay above the red for a while, despite always playing second fiddle to Intel Financially speaking. Now imagine if AMD had had the majority of the market, and a monopoly to the point that they could milk dumb cucks who would gladly stand by and watch their wallet get fucked for 3% increased performance each year.

Intel will keep prices the same, retailers will move quickly to get rid of overstock with AMD Ryzen on the way in by discounting Intel processors, but when cannonlake/coffelake hit, prices for them will be almost the same, if not more as what Skylake and Kabylake launched for.

At LEAST another socket change, most likely 2, and then Intel will release a new arch and brand loyal fags will keep up the perpetual cycle of Intel ripping them and the entire market off. DDR5 RAM should be somewhere in there as well.
