Pretty much, I have several Thinkpads with new and old keyboards. I've typed on MacBooks and the keyboards are absolute shit, I don't know how people like to code on those keyboards for hours on end.

i've used both t420, x220, and now a t440p. the new keyboards are not that bad. i certainly wouldnt mind using it. any of the newer touchpads (especially the 40 series) are just terrible.

you faggots always talk about hur dur keyboard sucks, but no one ever mentions the newer trackpads are pretty much unusable.

I actually type much faster on chiclets or those 'softer' keys but I find the thinkpad keyboard to be very comfy to use.

I would prefer to switch the ctrl and fn keys though. (I know there's a way but I'd rather just learn to deal with how it is)
