I wish I could afford to get a good 16:10 screen. They cost some 50% more (or even greater) than an otherwise equivalent 16:9. I just can't justify it.

It just werks. My favourite aspect ratios are 4:3, 5:4 and 16:10. I don't have a 5:4 Display at the moment. I do have a 4:3 on my iBook and Thinkpad and a 16:10 on my iMac.
