>HE DOESN'T HAVE FF 64 BITS INSTALLED
What a fucking 6uck.
What's a 6uck?
Why is modern firefox so shit. Years ago it was the go-to web browser.

because you dont know how to use about:config

Still can't uninstall all the bloat they've been adding. Only disable it temporarily until the meaningless monthly version update decides that you really did want to use Pocket instead of bookmarks.
>>59134688
Maybe that's the point. Years ago FF was a great web browser where you didn't have to fuck around with the hundreds of settings under about:config . It was never as fast as chrome but the lack of botnet and great plugins more than made up for that.

What is the best FF offshoot?
>>59134737
Who the fuck gives a fuck about how it looks?
>using normal firefox
>>59134780
with the right tweaks though firefox is literally milliseconds slower than chromium based browsers for me. I choose privacy over a few unnoticable milliseconds.

>>59134876
Can you post some tweaks please
>>59134979
A couple that made a big difference for me are
layers.acceleration.force-enabled true
nglayout.initialpaint.delay 0
There are many more if you search firefox optimization tweaks or about:config speed tweaks.

Yeah Nightly is botnet.
ESR

I'm sorry did you just assume my gender?
>>59134800
Waterfox for "literally a recompile" tier
Pale Moon for "the madmen actually did it" tier
>>59135139
Is it bad that I consider certain "botnet" features acceptable or even desirable? Am I bluepilled?
Like, I don't want my browser to send typing data to Google or any crazy shit, but automatically updating a malware site blacklist seems positive even if it tells the Google server someone on my IP has Firefox running

Yeah, nah m8

Enjoy your 2gb ram.
>>59137780
No, obviously people at Mozilla came to the same conclusion regarding what features to turn on by default. That list is outdated also, the battery status API and pocket are gone. It's also missing the most obvious thing to remove if you have it: Flash.

>>59140738
This. My chromium just started defaulting to google search and I'm scared.
