>Without the user even opening the Store, or asking for his or her permission, the operating system installs some apps like Candy Crush Soda Saga, Minecraft: Windows 10 edition, Flipboard, Twitter and some other apps. Earlier, you could prevent Windows 10 from installing them using a Registry Tweak, but it does not work any more in version 1607 "Anniversary Update".
Whenever you have an OS update, MS will install Candy Crush on your PC without your permission. That is, unless you follow 10+ steps in some obscure area in the OS. Even then, there's no guarantee that MS won't work around it and install these apps on the next update anyway.
How do Winfags justify this?

We don't. It's a shitpractice, but still easier to delete the app than on Linux. And Windows is still the best OS out there.

Check out this thread, this is nothing compared to that

This is much harder than typing ctrl+alt+t, $packagemanager $parameters $appname
Stop trying to justify using Windows, it's an OS that went to shit years ago.

I'll take shit that doesn't happen for 600$, Rajesh

Or use Windows 10 LTSB (long term servicing branch) which does not automatically install anything

Not installing Windows 10 Enterprise or Eductation

Windows users have long accepted loss of control of their computers. Literally nobody using Win10 is bothered by this.
I use 8.1

1. Right click the icon in the programs menu.
2. Click 'Uninstall.'
That's it. Don't get your panties in a bunch.
