My company just got us some macbook pro 2016's and I'm wondering if i could put linux on mine
Currently all I've found is this:
https://github.com/Dunedan/mbp-2016-linux
https://gist.github.com/roadrunner2/1289542a748d9a104e7baec6a92f9cd7
I'm really not sure what I'm planning to do, but this sounds like a neat project, and I'd like some opinions on it.
Its a fucking unix based OS dumbfuck
Installing any linux distro alongside it is the easiest thing in the world
What is wrong with you? Tech illiterate wagie.
Hope you get fired.

Apples proprietary drivers beg to differ
The first link provided stated that around half of the drivers on that device are supported (bluetooth & webca are unimportant, but wifi is important)

How fucking stupid are you really?
This has nothing to do with Apple.
Do you believe theres an apple cpu inside of a MBP or something?
lmfao.
There are not more and not less driver issues compared to Windows users.
All depends on the distro.
Ofc you will find it easier to run Ubuntu than some obscure meme distro but everyone has that issue.
TL;DR ur a faggot who doesn't know how to insert a USB stick into a MBP.
No wonder your company handed them out to you fucking babbies.

I'll make it easy for you
>Make Ubuntu/Mint/Debian/whatever bootable USB
>Boot it, check if everything works
>Download rEFInd and install it through the terminal in your recovery
>Install Linux distro
>Use computer
