Is it possible to overclock your HDD? Because mine constantly crashes if I don't keep it directly in a fan. I think something broke and it's spinning faster than it should be.
> HDD gets too hot & spins too fast
> Overclock it, so it doesn't gets too hot & spins too fast

bruh, no. if your harddrive is failing there is no fixing it. backup your data and buy a new drive.

your brain is spinning faster than it should be
what the flying fuck just back up what you can and get a new drive

This is one of the benefits of a standard hard drive over SSD, the fail gradually and give you clear signs that it's time to back up.
That hard drive is as good as dead, backup any data you can't afford or wants to lose and shop for a new one.

are you retarded?
>>59118670
if your car breaks down does it go faster than it's max speed too?
>>59119665
If the thing that breaks is the throttle and it is stuck open, yes.
>>59119665
If what broke was the speed limiter, yes

It relies on mechanical parts. If you overclock them, the mechanical parts will become too slow for the HDD clock and you'll eventually read just garbage.
And take this advice. >>59118738
Backup your porn as soon as you can.
I think your hard disk is just fucked. Backup the data before you completely lose it.
