Autohotkey in programming

Automating data entry tasks at work... basically moving excel tables in to other programs, turns a 2 hour copy and paste job to about 15 minutes

Could easily automate my workload to save hours a day. Why are companies against the use of macros?

If your job can be done by a macro it means you're going to be replaced by AI in the future.

Some tasks can be almost completely replaced, others can be assisted, I'm looking for ideas on both.

AI will eventually replace everything even humans but that's for another topic.

Linux has Autokey, and the good thing is that it's Python based macros, meaning you can use all the libraries you might want.
