There is, though.
Just set noscript to refuse HTTP connections.

unless you need a continuous https connection for doing some shady shit

You don't even need it. Any modern site that has HTTPS support will default to it. As long as you don't actually type "http://" in your address bar or in your bookmarks, you're fine.
>>
>>59103142
seems like you to buy more ram.
>>
>>59103931
so 4chan isnt modern I guess
>>
>>59104003

Oh shit I didn't realize that "4chan.org" goes to HTTP. In that case, OP should just make a habit of using bookmarks then, and I guess check out that userscript, but it's really a non issue.
>>
>>59104003
no it isn't
>>
>>59103931
most porn sites dont default to https. not sure if most people want to bookmark those either.
>>
>>59104101

True. That would be a case where I personally wouldn't care if it's HTTPS though, since I don't have an account to login to and I don't enter personal information.
>>
>>59103142
that thing is useless. it does not really redirect to https on most sites because they might not be popular enough to be on their list
>>
>>59104211
really? do you have an example site? just curious
>>
>>59104115
This, and there's no reason not to bookmark them if you're frequent.
>>
>>59104257

I'm actually surprised the first reply to that wasn't "But porn preferences are personal information!"

What are these google cookies on 4chan for?!

i blocked them
>>
>>59104271

Also, I did a quick test with some of the big porn sites, and they don't seem to support HTTPS anyway. Try typing "https://www.youporn.com", and you'll still get HTTP. Same thing with PornHub

for whatever reason most big porn sites don't use https

What are HTTPS by default and Smart HTTPS?

KB SSL Enforcer

Because everysite is different and nobody else wants to rewrite all those rules for which sites break, what partial content you can upgrade, etc.

All the alternatives I've seen simply replace the url, not rewrite links or do partial upgrades.

Why does 4chan work so poorly when you request https? You have to scroll to the top of the page to fill in the reply form and when you hoover over a quoted postnumber it gets crossed out in stead of viewing the post. Still shitposting unencrypted for this reason.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
