I have Android Lost now, but I want to know if there is a better option.
It has to be something that works even without the SIM Card, thieves remove it quickly after stealing the phone.
Living in an area with low black population.
you cant track it if there isnt an internet connection
network providers can do it by searching for your devices mac then triangulating from nearby towers, but you cant

Cerberus works without a sim as long as Tyrone connects it to a WiFi eventually

Encrypted phone + Root + MacroDroid + Clean Lockscreen + APM+
If you want something 100% reliable you'd need to install a GPS tracker inside the phone with its own power source and connection.
The easiest thing to do is probably just to encrypt your phone so that at least your data can't be accessed (they don't care about your data though unless you happen to be someone important to them, they just wipe it and sell the phone) and then have an insurance that covers a new phone if the current one gets stolen.
