If you commuted a crime on the interest over 1 or 2 years ago, there's literally no way the police can find you.
Most ISP's retain IP address subscriber information for about a year. Meaning if anyone did anything illegal and an ip address was reported to the authorities, they won't know who that IP address belonged to.
What's the point of that!? Shouldn't ISP's retain logs for at least 5 years?
