it would take AMD another 5 years of complete price domination to just go even. Most people here won't upgrade, it's not like AMD is faster, it's simply 2 times cheaper/has twice as many cores depending how you look at it.

IMO Intel should start dropping prices asap, fucking around in order to do damage control by pretending that their next gen of 14nm desktop CPUs can be much cheaper due to some improvements in manufacturing will only lose them customers who want to upgrade right now and everyone already knows that they were duped and bought overpriced product - Intel coming out and simply dropping prices right in order to compete with AMD won't change that, people are pissed off as it is.

The 4 core Zen chips won't hit until 2H 2017.

MAYBE... MAYBE in the Fall with a new APU line that might use Zen+ instead of Zen.
