Linux From Scratch.
Google it. It is interesting.

I find Arch difficult to install.
I tried Debianstable and it crashed several times.
Now I use Debiansid on my server to provide necessary stabitily.
I use templeOS on my main PC and server because of its great networking capabilities.
Challenge me unix-fags

B-b-but Stali Linux...

there's a little something called "opportunity cost" which you techniggers may have heard of if you've ever taken any economics course.
The value provided by setting up an LFS system is not proportional to the amount of work it takes to setup.
Compare that to something like arch, which is relatively simply to setup and also doesn't come with much bloat (compared to other distros) and it makes complete sense why people would choose arch over LFS.

What's difficuilt about creating a partition and installing a bootloader?
>>59089298
wait TempleOS actually has networking now what
Ran Arch, then LFS.
Thought a zero-bloat, minimalist system would be a good idea.
Turns out I spent all my time looking for software I didn't anticipate needing, or fixing problems.
Embrace the bloat and actually get things done.

I don't even bother to change the wallpaper anymore.

Why, in this day and age of 250+ GB ssd's and 8+ GB ram, does anyone worry about "bloat"? A full install of every program you could ever need including office suite is less than 3 gigs. You're talking a few hundred K difference on average, maybe dozens of MB at most, between WM's, DE's, and distros. Give me the bloat+features, use all my fucking ram, make my CPU sweat giving me a sweet experience.

No, that's clearly an operating system.
