I was wondering if anyone have thought of a way to crack down data through NFC tech for bus transit cards and such.

It is possible for some inadvanced systems if you know how it works and have enough equipment to perform attack.
Im talking about , a way to get free rides or something
If you have the proper equipment you can charge public transit cards with infinite money

CCC hackers in German did some work years ago. New cards have fairly strong crypto built in. Old cards had DES or 3DES. New cards have AES. There are exceptions, but this is the situation in the developed world, i'm pretty sure.
Google mifare.
Here's the german stuff for the older mifare classic cards (which were common 10 years or more back): https://events.ccc.de/congress/2007/Fahrplan/events/2378.en.html
