One instance with four tabs versus four single-tab instances of browser of choice?
what uses less resources?

I have four windows with about 30 tabs each. I also have 32GiB of ram.

Oh wow, you sure are productive. I wish I could use 120 tabs at same time because I surely need to have all those pages open in my browser and not in, lets say bookmarks.

I'd go for separated instances, not because of resources but in case of crash I wouldn't lose it all. I have 4-8 tabs open but I have only 4Gb ram on my primary mobile device. I never go over 3Gb ram in average use tho.
I frankly don't get the point of tabs. Why cant they simply be integrated into the taskbar of the OS as seperate windows? Why is vertical space wasted on them?

If you're maxing out resources frequently on browsing you should probably just be closing some shit down.
Other than that do whatever works for you workflow wise.

I meant more in terms of utilizing an extra monitor.

nvm, yanet garcia, hawt
I have 2 monitors, one of them is one of those meme fucking 21:9 ones
I can say that it's much better to have multiple windows than tabs in that sense. It's a good thing it's not too difficult to manage with chrome since you can just snap them tabs in and out.

>meme fucking 21:9 monitors
Just got a new job, can't wait to get my meme monitor
>>59082387
I'm not gonna lie, with 2 instances side to side it's hella comfortable. At work I have to use a 4:3 monitor and it drives me nuts.

That's my whole point of getting it, high res 5:4 monitors are far more expensive than getting an ultrawide that's essentially two 5:4 monitors side by side
124 tabs in one window, 130 in the other
