Chrome works fine here. When something better comes along I will change, and no a Chromium skin like vivaldi, opera, brave are not new browsers.

I also have Firefox installed and hope that Mozilla can someday make it decent again.

Also I don't think there's nothing wrong with calling closed sourced programs botnet, of course it's unproven but generally speaking if your goal is privacy you should probably avoid closed source software.
