nothing uses AVX2 though, and further even in the groups who are supposedly supposed to benefit the most from AVX 2 (hard maths and science shit), the LHC (large hadron collider) did a whole case study on how useful AVX2 was for their hard computational work and it ended up being barely any faster for like 10x as much work for the initial programming.

Anything you can program to work with AVX2 would be better accelerated by an AMD™ Vega™ General Purpose Graphics Processor
I'm only half meming here, AVX is sort of redundant when you have $200 supercomputers designed specifically for vector processing widely available to consumers
