Assuming I have already allowed port access through my router and firewall, what else is there left to do? Remote Desktop works locally but if I try to connect through my public IP, I'm rejected.

Any ideas? I've been reading through shit like this: http://serverfault.com/questions/484099/remote-desktop-working-in-lan-but-not-over-wan#484155
But I've gotten no where.
