Been using an aeron for about 15 years now. Had to replace a couple of parts and also switch to hardwood floor wheels. Parts are available on eBay or new.

I paid $250 at the end of the dot com crash in 2002. Literally bought it out the back of some guy's truck.

I get it, economies of scale makes it cheaper to put two off-the-shelf lower units than one custom low-volume fat fuck lower unit, but it's got to be a pain to adjust the height on that thing.
