Lucid Charts is pretty good but I want something that doesn't hold my charts hostage, you can't easily export from them and even the XML export is hard to set up and has stopped working for me for no particular reason.
The free limits in pic related are really easy to hit too.
Is there any free charting tool that isn't shit? Preferably FOSS.
I went looking a while back and only found Diag which is really, really ugly.
I mostly want to do ER modeling.

I use draw.io. Can export to xml, svg, their proprietary format, or a bunch of other shit.

Thanks, I guess I'll give it a shot.
I did find Pencil Project and yED which I'll check out too. Neither of them seem on the same level as LucidCharts or Visio but they might be ok.

Is there any reason why just calligra flow or libreoffice won't do the trick already?

Tons of ER diagram modelers in IDE and DB tools (Eclipse GEF, mysql workbench etc.).
