also your motherboard might not support 7th gen intel cpu. you need bios update that requires 6th gen cpu.

Evo 212 was good years ago, it's garbage when compared to modern alternatives.

7700k is a bad purchase even without Ryzen around the corner, runs hot as fuck. Get 6700k or wait for Ryzen

Mobo won't even allow you to oc your fucking unlocked CPU, plus it probably won't even work out of the box since old Skylake series mobos need a BIOS update to run with Kaby Lake and unless you have an old 1151 CPU it won't even boot to BIOS.

Right now is literally the worst time to buy a new PC. Ryzen will drop prices alot and if you are a gamer the GTX 1080 Ti will probably help too.
