>Special ed iMac G3
Neat.
>>59047460
It's got a G4 and a better screen though
>>59047460
It's more fun to think of them as the Crown Victoria of Macs
>often sold in fleets to governments and large corporations
>decently reliable and durable
>iconic aesthetic
>iconic shittiness (but they'll still get you from A to B)
>>59047442
You just told the NSA what you're favorite computer is.
Macs is scam backwards
Makes you think
>>59047865
Why would I care what a dumbass who bought an Alienware laptop thinks?
>>59047442
Yeah but what is your favorite mouse?
I fucking loved that bitch
• top-notch design
• amazing screen
• using OS9 on it was ultra comfy
• upgrading my way to Tiger felt so fucking great
However, Sic transit gloria mundi. Although the PowerPC days fill me with nostalgia, I have accepted the reality. PowerPC had its age, but today an eMac is as good as refried dogshit.
Maybe it's possible to save the case and put a modern computer inside it though.

I use one as a bedside machine, works great.
>>59047924
elaborate please
you use a g4 ppc desktop in 2017? what do you do with it? do you use tiger?
>>59047974
I've got G4 desktops and laptops that see regular use
>what do you do with it?
Browse the web, program, and play games
>Tiger
Triple boot Tiger, Leopard, and OpenBSD
>>59048003
Can you really browse the modern web on it? I'm impressed.
I guess I could see myself using an eMac + Tiger for purely nostalgic reasons. SNES9x 1.42, Bannister's emus, old PPC games...
Can't comment on OpenBSD though, never tried it.
>>59048018
Of course you can

>bedside
Which disease? Hopefully it's cancer just for giggles.
