Any chance they are going to kill eachother?
>>59024785
how?
>>59024785
facebook wont exist in a decade
>>59024785
>Google+
lmao
There are no signs of Google failing.
While Facebooks platform isn't very future proof, they have enough money to keep on trucking in whatever field they want for eternity, if they spend their money wisely.

the data will, that's what matters
same for google
>>59024981
>still believing in the too big to fail meme
>>59024785
why would they? their primary products aren't directly competing which each other.
As long as GoogleX continues to churn out failed projects like the google car, there's a chance they'll at least stop fucking up humanity for a little while
>>59025044
>too big to fail
Money bedazzles them, believe it will solve their ignorance problem. They don't realize the lawyers, accountants and financial advisors will screw them. Ruthless competitors will find loopholes and cheat to undercut their business.
Lots of money is a lot of dirty work.

>their primary products aren't directly competing which each other.
Their primary sources of profit, selling your personal info to advertisers, are the same.
If you're talking about them killing each other in the social communication industry, no. Google can't even put out a competent messaging app. Google Talk was ok, Hangouts had potential but instead of harnessing that potential they decided to release the abomination that was Allo.
Everyone will fail except google.
Google is coca cola.

This. Even if they don't fuck up legally (the SEC has been probing them a lot in the last few months), Facebook is pretty much an old folk's home these days. People use it because there's nothing better available.

Kek. I remember normies back in 2009 saying, to sound smart and prescient, "Facebook is gonna go the Myspace way soon guys B)" Guess what? They didn't, and they've only grown. Facebook is doing HUGE shit in big data and machine learning, they're not going anywhere. Myspace was a toy, FB is much more than that.
>>59025935
Also Amazon
Zuckerberg could screw up facebook since he has a special scheme that gives him more control than shareholders.
>>59024902
Nah
Facebook is where everyone is. If I want to contact a classmate for a school project or something, I'm not going to ask what his twitter or instagram is. Everyone is on Facebook so it's the central hub for the social networking experience. It's going to take a long time for a viable replacement to emerge, since it won't really be a replacement until it builds a 1b+ userbase
