Sapphire Nitro+ AMD RX 480 8GB is better than that in my opinion but you're probably good with either.

opengl instead of vulkan on my card shows a fair difference

Look at recent benchmarks and the rx 480 is faster than the gtx1060 in almost all games. AMD finally got good drivers out.

Starting to regret not buying one instead of a 1060. But it doesn't really matter I guess since the RX 480 is too large for my case anyway

I have this exact card (except PNY).
I've had it for 2 months so far, and i have literally no complaints about it (going from a 660 to this). worth the money imo.
