So I got a 256GB PRO, normal Samsung SSD. It's got my W10 operating system, steam games, etc. Problem is its gotten full, fast.
So I was thinking about getting a pic related and having it as my dedicated game hard drive.
1. Will the M2 slot work as just a normal extra drive?
2. What is the best way to transfer my games from my old SSD to the M2 and keep my saves intact?

just buy some nice 128GB USB 3.0 Sticks and a bit of a powered hub.
Now you can take your games to your friends house or keep in your backpack and to show off.
win win win

Why the hell would you EVER get an M.2 ssd for games? Are you autistic? If anything, put your OS on the m.2 and use your ssd as game drive. Muh gayming. Now sell your ssd drive and get a mechanical hdd for your games, cus the sad doesn't do much for gaming anyway, space over speed.

Not when games these days are streaming pile of shit full of open worl gameplay. SSD helps alot in those cases, unless you're playing staged maps then HDD works.

What kind of retard buys the PRO instead of the EVO?

Depends on the game m8. Streaming open world games, or games with really high resolution textures will stutter to shit on an HDD

That's how it usually goes
