I just tried to download adblock, and I clicked a phony download link because I am a stupid idiot.
How do I fix whatever I may have fucked up, and what is a good antivirus (preferably with a non-.exe download link)?

Clear all temps, and delete your browsers profile. Backup, or sync your bookmarks first.

It didn't say it installed anything, but I clicked the big green install button and didn't get any follow up prompts, and despite appearing at the top of google's web listings, the site didn't have any of those shitty star reviews that they put up next to anything else that has download links, and it's just "AdBlock Plus", with no trademarks, L.L.C.s, Co.s, or anything else, and now something other than my shitty pre-installed anti-virus is telling me that I have a virus.
