for gaming i would never go under 15", but for everything else 13" is fine and i would go with that

I wouldn't do anything below 13 but it doesn't really matter to me. When I'm out I don't really notice the extra inch or two. When I'm at home I can just hook up a 27 inch display. That's where I see the big difference.
