Here's a screenshot of the temperature while performing the benchmark, it peaked at about 55°c on one of the cores.

I'm cooling it with a h80i v2, as far as I can tell, everything is connected properly and in working order in respects to the cooling.

Comparing mine to other benchmarks, mine performs similar in all respects except for 'physics' and 'prime numbers' (it scores about 50% worse than the avg. 7700k in these tests). Could anyone think of a reason for this?

you got a shit cpu, my i5 3570k runs hot as fuck 90c under load and I can only get a stable oc at 4.1ghz. Intel is shit and my next cpu will be and amd because fuck intel
