It's a PITA to move all your stuff once you've already dumped it into a cloud provider and have been using it for a while.

99% of people barely use their allotted storage. The 1% that go hog wild are eventually tagged as abusers or pirates, get their account shutdown, and we're back to normal again. Because seriously, who has 100TB of legitimate data?
