Backstory: I have an i7-4810MQ based MSI GT70 Dominator (Cyberpower PC HX7). Turns out this thing clocks like crazy. Posting a separate thread about overclocking in general.
Screencap is previously on /g/
Tell your overclocking stories and brag about your specs.

My first bench was http://valid.x86.fr/pidssq
Second bench was http://valid.x86.fr/pnfx9f
I decided to open up my laptop and see exactly what I was working with when I benched. Oh boy, I was working with a very terrible cooler!
1 hour later and a full laptop cleaning done.
How far could I go now? I was going to go for broke, beat all of the i7-4xxx series CPU's in benchmarks.
And the result was one of the fastest clocks on these chips.
>temps staying below 75C
>4Ghz
>benching above i7-4770k by 300+ points in multi-threading
>mission almost accomplished
More work to be done, but I might be able to hit that top spot... Though the top spot for that CPU was done on an i7-4900MQ

Lap heater.
Got any plans on going higher?

If I figure out how to bump multipliers higher than XTU allows me to then yes. Have not found a program that allows me to do that yet.
