What are the good methods of screencaping?
Are there any tools (or recommended software)
or do you just take screenshots, crop them and stick a screencap together in your graphics editor of choice?

maim and slop, combined with a script that opens a rofi screen asking me whether I want to upload my image (which gives me a notification when it's done uploading, the url will be in my clipboard) or save it, and two keybinds: one for taking a picture of the entire screen, and the other passes the -s option to the script to let me select a portion.

MacOS does more because there's more numbers but I wouldnt expect you to be able to keep up at this point.
I use greenshot on windows.
Its breddy gud.
Just replaces the prtscn button with a region selector, still allows you to use alt+prtscn etc to capture whole windows.
