What's a good mpv config file look like with max volume to 1000%?
>>58989987

>>58989992
In ~/.config/mpv/mpv.conf
add
"softvol=yes"
"softvol-max=1000"
Save and use mpv.
>>58989987
Spatry.

I just want to warn everyone here not to use Linux 4.9 if you use the amdgpu drivers.

>After playing around, Linux 4.8.0-2 does not have this problem. I get lower average vsync-jitter with no spikes when using 4.8.0-2 instead of 4.9.0-1.
>This seems to be a Linux 4.9 bug.
STILL NO CHROME OS PORT
Not so great after all, hah!
UNLESS SOMEONE SHOWS/TELLS ME HOW TO ACTUALLY GET MPV ON CHROME OS AND YES I ACCESS TO THE TERMINAL. I can wipe it for a distro but fuck that, Chrome OS is comfy and I already boot Manjaro persistent off a USB anyway and sound is borked on it since it's a Toshiba ChromeBook 2 2014 Bay Trail bug/problem with Arch distros anyway.
>>58992599
>chrome os
fuck off
>>58992484
I'm the opposite. I use MPV without any config at all.
I use it cuz it just werkz
>>58993837
Just switched from MPC-HC+madVR
I use a config, but the comfiest feeling is just the sheer simplicity of MPV and its out of the box settings
It truly just werks
>>58992599
Chrome OS is supposed to be getting Android apps soon i hear.
I personally like MPC-HC better.
>>58994659
MPC-HC is a better player.
>>58994678
Agreed, much better.
>>58992599
