If you don't want to bother with CDs, you should install it to an USB using the LiveUSB Guide on the Gentoo wiki.

The Hybrid ISO. Those minimal CD install options you'll see for a couple distros. They're usually made for the very unlikely scenario that you're using a CD and are planning to install everything else through the Internet hence the "minimal" name. They just give you the base stuff. It's more trouble than it's worth for a newbie.

Have fun, anon! I hope afterwards you try installing a real distro instead of an actual meme. Fedora is a good option as it doesn't hold your hand. It has you add repos on your own and is a good learning point for Linux.

No; that's not how gentoo works. The LiveDVD does not contain any sources either, It just has X, browsers and stuff. You need an internet connection regardless.
