I'm starting to put out some applications for work and wanted to get some ideas on types of jobs that may be done remotely at an entry level. Alternatively, and tech industry job ideas that may be a bit more flexible would be super duper appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Stupid fucking idea. Whatever you can do remotely, Pajeet can do cheaper.
I work remotely, it isn't entry level and pajeet can't do it. Learn assembly, learn how to reverse engineer. Beef up on OS Architecture. Become a Malware Researcher. All these fucks in here are front end web developers, I wouldn't listen to any of them.

could you go into a little more detail (if you know about it)
Is this something you've done or someone you know has tried in the past?

i've done it. you just push buttons and look for unexpected behavior. You reproduce bugs all day long and look for workarounds.
Sometimes there is some scripting involved, sometimes not.
None.
The most common way to land a remote job is to work some place in person for a few years and then negotiate to work remotely.
