/G/uys, I want to buy a dashcam, but with so many out there I'm not sure what's good.
I don't trust most reviews because I assume some or most of them are paid for.
Any advice? Money is not an issue, so have at it.
A119S is the defacto one, and I love mine for what it's worth.

The other one that I was looking at (but didn't personally want to spend the money on) is the BlackVue DR650, which is nice because it's dual channel so you get a rear facing camera as well.

I haven't used the BlackVue at all, it just looks very nice. The A119 is cheap but reliable, I hardwired it into my Miata, it turns on when the car turns on, runs without any issues, and it's capacitor backed instead of battery, so it should be more reliable in hot weather.
I got a G1W-CB off of gearbest.com for pretty cheap. You gotta watch out for fakes, but the gearbest ones are legit. The shipping usually takes over a month though.
GW1-C. Beware of knockoffs, you have to pay at least $40.
Had mine for 8 months now, been through cold and hot. Don't cheap out on the microsd card, that is good for any cam you buy. Cam was fine but my chink microsd card didn't make it more than a couple of months. Make sure to check if you have a flashing red light, mine is reflected perfectly in my rearview back window glass if I look really hard. Put in a sandisk and it's been fine ever since.
Not a lot of scammers or accidents around here, it's more of peace of mind for me since I love my S2000 and it would be my way to get back if someone tried to lie.
Are there UHD dash cams? I don't have a car.
thanks everyone! I do like the A119S!
