Fedora master race.

I like how you're so butthurt about it you just had to change the Ubuntu logo to your "yet another garbage flavour of the month" logo.

you forgot to mention how the pool dug itself but then you had to source the water yourself for it because water violates a united states patent and is considered a forbidden item.

So does Fedora but you're not typing the whole goddamn time.

Red Hat is the only relevant linux corporation, I think I'm going to trust them more than some autists jacking off over tiling WMs.

damn enabling non-free repos is so hard, just have to click a button or type a few lines, wow

>damn enabling non-free repos is so hard, just have to click a button or type a few lines, wow
Yet you diss a distro where you have to type a few lines more.

ladies and gentlemen, the audacity of a paid RedHat shill

The second option is preferable for the absurd man. Sisyphean maintenance on the operating system is at least experiencing something.
>>

That is where you are wrong:
>Oracle
>Novell (suse)
Linux built by these guys (and CentOS, but this one does not count) are consistent and solid as fuck.
>>
>>58962891

the problem with arch is that the community is hostile garbage who take their duct taped OS too seriously. also arch devs don't care if updates break shit, which is unacceptable unless your time is worthless
>>
>>58962933

HAHAHA Oracle is not a relevant linux vendor at all. they are shit garbage for idiots who hopped on in "me too" fashion. Suse is also not relevant in the North American market, only Europe

I don't use either of those distros because they're both inferior to mine for their own reasons, however I have tried both and you're lying to yourself if you legitimately believe that Arch is anywhere near the convenience level of Fedora. The time I installed Fedora in a VM I was amazed at how polished the installer is, it's even better than in Windows. Every single thing in Fedora shows that it's a distro backed by a corporation putting a lot of money into it.
>>
>>58963196
>it's even better than in Windows
You say that like it's hard to do.
>>
>>58962873
>trusting corporations
you should use windows, lol.

let's not forget who brought us systemd
>>
>>58963210

>le proud Linuck meme

Stop pretending to be retarded. The distros with an installer that's as convenient as Windows' can be counted with a hand. There are even lots of distros that have been using the same text-based installer for 11 years, and they're not precisely small irrelevant distros.
>>
it does actually suck. after a recent update, multiple of my programs broke, because something quite deep in the system is not doing what it's supposed to do. Can't be bothered to find out what is going wrong, so I'm probably gonna switch to debian or Fedora (wanna try stuff out). I've also been considering crux, I like how I can understand the entirety of their packaging system in 30 minutes of reading. But it sounds like a maintenance-heavy distro.
>>
>>58963235

systemd is good. why is it bad, exactly?
>>
>>58963330
It is huge and tries to encompass all functions.
>>
>>58963380

An OS is also huge and tries to encompass many functions. I guess you hate your OSes too right? You probably hate smartphones and cars and planes too.
>>
>>58963188
Thu is extremely accurate, but I don't arch because updating is for fags. You can get the same comfy homemade feeling by taking a netinstall and working up from there.
>>
>>58963413
I was referring to the evident scope creep systemd has.

The unix way is having simple programs doing specific task.

But I guess you pruposedly avoided understanding this point, so I'll lower this to your level: I also hate your mom.

Linux and everything related is not UNIX and it will never be. I don't see your point, you're obviously retarded and ignorant; might as well have complained that they aren't following the Windows' philosophy.
>>
>>58964733
linux is a kernel
>>

Where did I say it's not? You come across as a huge idiot with poor reading comprehension, I can't imagine your life is very good.
>>
why are arch users such insufferable faggots?
>>
i use arch because it never gest in my way
i literally have an auto update run on boot, i just do my thing. if i ever need software it's always one click away. i can play games and do work. i never worry about anything. took me like a day or two to setup, but I consider it worth it. If it's not your preference to set things up yourself, then don't use it. no one's telling you to use arch.
