Especially as some plastics started yellowing from UV exposure, people associated them with a dirty look. That's when grey/silver took over.

Cheap ABS plastics ruined quality beige hardware. I miss it.
If somebody made a good modern beige case, I would be all over it.
Fuck RGB, bring back beige.

speaking of beige electronics, is there any new cases/tech out there that is beige? I remember there being a 900d beige april fools joke or something, but it honestly looks amazing.

If thre really isn't any, is there newer tech with that classic old school feel? I think the Silverstone Tj08 kinda has that feel too it, too bad they didn't make the TJ08 Pro

Yep. If they hadn't cheaper out and used UV stable plastics they might have hung around longer. At least for the enterprise market. But consumer electronics would have progressed toward today's colors/style regardless.
