So we have cheap efficient multicore performance and somewhere between 60-80% of the single thread performance of Intel 6th and 7th generation processors, correct?
What else do we really know?

No it's actually closer to 40% single thread perofmrnace of Intel
>>58947084
Probably round 90% of ST on the same clock, at least. But it may depend on application. If there is heavy AVX/AVX2 use, it will fall behind more. But such tasks are likely MT, so it will make that up with extra cores.
Double the L2 cache of non-extreme series i7 processors, but a considerably norrower FPU than Intel counterparts.

We're looking at like 90-95% of Intel's integer performance, and 80% of Intel's FPU performance.
All at 30% of the price.
