This one teaches you both C# and programming in general. Note that the examples are pretty hard. If you master this one you'll easily master every other book

Bad side is that it only covers Console programs and it misses some stuff like async and stuff like that

Still, very good book for learning fundamentals

yeah but optimization in C# means you drop 90% of the language.

what you end up is C without malloc calls, but since you are trying this hard to write fast code you might aswell write those 2 lines
