It get's formed into place when i put the covers on. What should rustle your jimmies is the custom (nigger rig) the fan on the radiator.

>>58926785
No hole, just the center support. Still rigid, even more so when the covers are put back on.

>>58926814
Everything stays really cool. Only doing 4.2 on the CPU so it stays at 60c. GPU stays around 65 at 2000MHZ and the hottest SSD only reaches 45c.

Main rig is boring af.

Temps are great. Went from no OC headroom to 4.2 stable a little over 1.2 volts. Hits 65c at 100% load. GPU stays under 70c as well and I have that manual OC'd to 2050 mhz. The hottest drive reaches 45c too after full heat saturation too.

Had a full size 1070 inside that case at one point.

Temps were too much and it was too loud. Sucks, because I really liked the case.

Thinking about building a guest pc for my buddy who is over here 3 times a week. How's the half size cards temps under load? I'm thinking maybe a 1050ti or another lower end card. All we play is dark souls 3, dungeon crawlers and overwatch.

>>
>>58940022
It's barely audible in normal game loads. It's only in shit like prime95 that it needs to spin up to 100% and even then it won't break 80 degrees.
>>
>>58940119
I should say I'm using coollaboratory liquid ultra. It's incredibly effective at moving the heat. In idle the CPU is only 10-15 degrees over ambient while the cooler is running at it's lowest(800 rpm)
>>
>>58940119
That's good to hear (literally). It's an impressive amount of performance for the size.

I can see cooler line holes in the back and 2x 120mm fans in the top, you can prob move the 2.5"

For the ethernet driver I also tried , this issue started few months after I switched to Win 10. Which led me believe win 10 isn't the issue or at least wasn't at the time. I reinstalled my OS twice already and tried , win 7 , win 8.1 and win 10 driver. Still no luck

Last anon suggest OC instability

>>
>>58951359
they should be silent or barely audible at best

unless you fucked up and didn't bleed out all the air in the loop (air bubbles make a ton of noise)

fans make as much noise as they do on air coolers, water's party trick there is letting you run more radiator surface area and slower/quieter fans to make up for it (or, you can fuck the radiator off somewhere else as long as your pump can handle it - run hoses through a window and set it outside or something

it's all about being able to move the heat away to somewhere else
>>
>>58950641
how's the S340 for airflow? I've been thinking about getting the Elite version but it looks cramped as fuck in there although I don't plan to crossfire.
>>
>>58951359
Depends.
More radiator surface area will dissipate more heat, which will let you run fans at lower RPM for the same performance as smaller radiators with a higher RPM. The same concept applies to air cooling.
Check out this neat article with some graphs: https://www.ekwb.com/blog/radiators-part-2-performance/
Usually any half decent pump is also going to be very quiet. You don't need the highest possible flow rate, so this can be run at a relatively low speed as well.

That said, if you want those dank meme bragging temperatures like 40C under 100% load, it's going to be loud or take up a LOT of space.

What
>>
>>58956860
ease of access, i dont like ripping a whole loop apart when i just want to change gpus out.

same as why the SSD is out front, in the open.

when i work on my systems, i want to work on them. not fuck around draining a loop, refilling, bleeding..etc etc etc.
>>
>>58957009
Okay, but that's exactly what the QDC Fittings are there for though
>>
>>58957256
neat, but yeah, I dont feel like fucking around. see the 240? its a (v1). see the 360? it has QDCs(v2).

Now if i wanted to contact colder, i could prolly get the correct (QDC) fittings.

http://www.quickcouplings.net/catalogs/colder_full_line_catalog.pdf

I could even contact EKWB and prolly get them.

OR

buy other brand(s)..

am i going to for almost a four year old build?

naw.

This isn't how you identify revisions. What you could've done though, is get a pre-filled GPU block with QDC fittings for your GPU instead of the 240.

That aside though, you may want to RMA both of them, depending on revision. If the little spacers between the pumps and their fittings are plastic (1.0C and earlier, 1.1C got a metal spacer), you've got two ticking time bombs in your system. There's a very high chance that these will crack and leak over time, and EKWB will replace them for free based on the risk alone.
>>
>>58957659
sorry but you're not telling me anything i don't already know.

and the recall was loooong ago, like last year long ago.

I like ticking time bombs. I like telling revisions by QDCs as well.

what will really blow your mind is that's a 980ti with a 780ti waterblock strapped to it.
>>
>>58957756
No, yeah, I know the recall was a long time ago. What I'm saying is even some of the newer revisions after the recall are ticking time bombs.
But hey, you do you. I'll be over here hoping I'm finally done RMAing these things now that I have a rev. 1.1E that isn't faulty in some way.

too lazy to cable manage or take the side panel off

What's the point of having a case with a side panel if it's going to look like shit on the inside?
