How does /g/ feel about type systems?
I trust them, lifecycle policy for all s3 buckets is 90days -> glacier (which is defs tape backed)
Last image is how I feel when I build a complex type system in Ocaml that avoids operator overloading, uses type inference and no loops - only pure recursion via pattern cases
I write all my shit in SML. Fuck your peon shit.

they are fucking awful to implement. one of those things i'll never do again in my life.

Do you ever wonder who draws new memes? Like, this brain meme started with one simple wojak variant, but now there are thousands of super elaborate versions of it. Someone had to sit down and spend hours drawing that just for one shitpost. What kind of madlad actually does something like that?

You'd be surprised how many people lurk here, Reddit, and whatever other sites.

I wonder that every time I see a new version of wojack or pepe. Even more so the elaborately animated ones. I get exhausted even thinking about making a gondola because of a funny idea I thought of.

Except if it's good, like the Wojack on the elephant, other people propagate it. I think that's what most people who draw "memes" aim for.
I always use a static language because it eliminates a whole class of errors.
That was before I saw OP's pic though, this changes everything. I don't want the memes saying I'm dumb.

What is a type system

Is there any research indicating that strongly typed languages have fewer bugs?
