this thing would be perfect for me

but there is one problem - storage space

I need a few TB

how could I solve this?

Microsoft OneDrive

I'm not sure which one is which, but you can install a standard laptop sized drive in there. If you can purchase a 1TB SSD, that solves your issue.

I bought these for work and they are very nice. Let me know if you have any other questions.

uhm...usb3 external drive?
>>
>>58916372
NAS. Thick 2,5" drive if it can fit.

>>
>>58916372
Put the SD card slot to good use, or grab a USB flash/hard drive.
>>
>>58916372
Remember to not buy the i7 ones. They're noisy and generate a
lots of heat.

it has both, displayport and hdmi, right? I need them for my monitor and TV
>>
>>58916484
All of them have HDMI, but only the higher-end models have DisplayPort, and it's a mini one, so you'll need an adapter.
>>

get this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856158048&cm_re=deskmini-_-56-158-048-_-Product
You can use 2 2.5in drives and a m2

Build your own ITX machine. Problem solved.
>>
>>58916556
ITX cases are like 20 - 30 times as large as an NUC.

If they can fit:

ITX Motherboard with full size ram slot
2 Laptop HD
etc.

Into this then you can fit two HD into yours which is 3-4 times the size.
>>
>>58916554
So how do you explain decade-old Core 2 Duo's still being usable for web browsing?

Not small enough.

So how are all the old ThinkPad shitposters managing to use the internet then?
>>

The ones made for HTPCs aren't. Look for some that come with a built in pico PSU.

get a network storage and done, OP

You can fit a 2TB 2.5" hdd plus an SSD. Any more than that and you'll need external storage

Intel, stop advertising.

I like NUCs, but it's getting too obvious how your shills are pushing this product everyday.

We get it, they don't sell so well. Maybe you should drop some prices or make them cooler.

Or ship them with installed RAM and SSD, because normies don't like to tinker with PC internals.

Do you even have a marketing department to tell you this?

Instead they're telling you to advertise on 4chan? Jeez.
>>
>>58917844
Snapping couple cards into obvious slots doesn't really count as tinkering.

Fuck off, having free choice of RAM and SSD size is a great thing
>>

People who don't have autism don't think like you. : )

>>58918018

>>
>>58917596
multiple monitors will not work without latest BIOS
NIC issues ( suddenly APIPA ) can't solve yet, but not that often for normies
adapters for the display are not always working
>>
I don't get the issue. 3.5 drives fit perfectly into the NUCs. What the fuck is this thread about?
>>
One thing I absolute detest about my 5th Gen NUC is that it simply can't handle Wifi and Bluetooth simultaneously. As soon as you start using Bluetooth, the network speeds plummet. Otherwise, a decent machine.

Neither does anyone here judging by the constant flow of check-my-build threads.

It's about NUCs built for 2.5" drives.
