I'm required to by my employer.

Fun event: last year I was informed I had to perform work outside of the office. I told them I don't run anything Windows or Mac at home. They bought me a $1000 company laptop. Worked out for them since the laptop is corporate property & I don't have any need for it other than what they've installed.

My boss was impressed that I run linux distros & *BSD. Brought me into a company project to evaluate and switch over a lot of our work. Turns out management is utterly fucked off at the lost productivity from the Win 10 debacle, plus the never-ending drain on profits from a couple hundred thousand dollars/year in licensing microsoft products. I'm getting paid to convert most of our company to linux. Only a few employees using proprietary software that requires Windows will retain microsoft-based computers.
